On August 21th, Ministry of Health of The People's Repubilc of China issued The Guide for Applying Research Items as the projects of The Key New Drug Creation and Manufacturing Programme in the 11th Five-Year Period.

    The time limitation of the plan being implemented is up to 2020. The schedule of the plan is to finished the clincial studies and the approval application of 30 new drugs used to treat 10 diseases which hardly hurt people's health such as cancers, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, between 2008 to 2010. The clinical studies of 1 or 2 new drugs with independent intellectual property rights in developed countries should be finished.
